Security Partner Portal
The partner portal is where a security firm Verdict has registered on the marketplace sees the scopes forwarded to it, bids on them blind, and tracks a won engagement through to payout.
Who it is for
The portal is for security firms Verdict has registered on the marketplace. Verdict creates the partner record and links it to your dashboard account; there is no self-serve signup in v1. Once the link exists, a Partner Portal entry appears in your dashboard sidebar at /dashboard/partner. To apply, write to partners@verdict.finance.
How a request reaches you
- A querier submits a scope through one of the three marketplaces: audit, pen test, or monitoring.
- Verdict triages it. That human review is the spam gate, and it happens before anything is forwarded.
- On approval the scope goes to matching partners: active, offering that service, with a countersigned agreement on file. You get an email, and the request appears under Open requests in your portal.
- The bidding window is seven working days. Only partners the request was actually forwarded to can bid on it.
Blind bidding, stated plainly
- You never see another partner’s bid, their price, or how many partners are bidding. The portal carries none of it.
- The querier sees your bid without your name: price, timeline, team size, re-review terms, and your coarse speciality tags only.
- Your identity reaches the querier when they accept your bid and the engagement is introduced, not before. Losing bidders are never identified at all.
- You never see the querier’s contact details in the portal. Verdict makes the introduction by email once the deposit lands, and the engagement then runs directly between the two of you.
Placing a bid
- Click Place bid on an open request and give an amount in USDC, a timeline in days, your team size, and your re-review terms.
- Choose the billing mode. Monitoring is sold as one year upfront, so a monitoring bid must quote an annual price; the form forces it.
- One live bid per request. If you need to change a bid, withdraw it and place a new one while the window is still open.
- Notes you add are for Verdict. The querier does not see them.
Withdrawing a bid
Withdraw bid appears on your own bid while the request is still shopping bids, which means the window is open or the bids are with the querier. A withdrawal does not use up your slot: you can bid again while the window is open. Once a bid has been accepted it cannot be withdrawn, because the deposit is quoted against it.
Winning, and getting paid
- The querier accepts one bid and deposits to the Verdict treasury. They pay your bid less half of the agreement discount; you receive your bid less the full discount, and Verdict keeps the difference. A 50,000 bid means 47,500 paid and 45,000 to you.
- Your portal card tracks the engagement: accepted, deposit received, introduction made, payout sent, closed.
- Payouts go to the address on your Payout address card. Set it before you win anything.
Payout address
The address is self-service: edit it on the payout card at any time. Verdict checks a changed address against your signed agreement before sending anything, so a change made mid-engagement can take a day to clear.
Your profile
Name, services, and speciality tags are recorded by Verdict and are read-only in the portal. The tags matter more than they look: they are the only thing a querier learns about you before accepting your bid. To change any of them, contact Verdict.
