Pre-Launch Risk Assessment
The Pre-Launch Risk Assessment (PLRA) is Verdict's structured cybersecurity + operational review for teams approaching a public launch. It produces an evidence-backed PDF report scoped to your protocol, chain, token, oracle, vault, organisation, or bridge.
Assessment process
Once your engagement letter is countersigned and payment confirmed, Verdict schedules your working session. In a single session of around two hours, the admin walks the 110+ point assessment (106 NIST CSF v2.0 controls + Verdict-specific controls for your entity type), you supply the evidence behind each one, and answers are captured live. Each "Not Implemented" control is paired with a recommendation tailored to your project. Your PDF report is issued the moment the session ends and a download link is delivered to your account email. The download link expires after 24 hours; you can re-issue from your dashboard.
What you get
- Cover sheet with entity metadata + Verdict approver attestation
- Executive summary framing the NIST CSF v2.0 + CMM + SCF methodology
- Prioritised recommendations digest (P1 critical → P5 minor)
- Maturity tier table — one tier (0-5) per NIST function with rationale
- Per-function detail of every control: status, explanation, recommendation
- Verdict-specific controls section (entity-type-dependent)
- Signed approver block + redistribution clause
Re-issuing the download link
Open the engagement card on your dashboard and click the "Download report" button. A fresh signed link is generated server-side and starts a new 24-hour window. The PDF itself is unchanged between re-issues; only the access link rotates.
